Mission Statement

Our Mission is to provide the community and the customers of Bacliff Municipal Utility District, in the most efficient and cost effective manner quality water and sewer. At the same time, in the same manner, maintaining and protecting the District’s assets, as well as serving and retiring Bacliff Municipal Utility District’s long term debts. Planning and acting as necessary to see that these services will be available and the quality guaranteed for years to come, remembering all the while our commitment to our community and being responsive to our customer’s needs.

Stage 3 Emergency Water Restrictions

STAGE 3 EMERGENCY WATER RESTRICTIONS

will be enforced starting

Monday-Friday, August 17-21, 2026

ALL OUTDOOR USE OF WATER IS PROHIBITED

The stage 3 restrictions are due to a GCWA surface water outage. The repairs are scheduled to the Bacliff MUD supply line from GCWA. During this time, the district will be required to operate the water system with its backup water well with limited water production.  Please register at www.gcoem.org to receive updates.
